Polar bear carving
As a Christmas gift, my family got me a very handsome carving of a polar bear, made from a piece of a Sequoia which had been blown down in a storm. It was carved at Toso Wood Works, in Vancouver.
It’s now resting quite agreeably atop a short stack of books on my desk.
I shall probably need to come up with a name for the fellow. Basil, perhaps.
