350.org is a climate change organization working to stabilize the amount of carbon in the atmosphere. Among other things, they are working to end fossil fuel subsidies.
A Toronto chapter is forming, with the first few events planned for the next couple of months.

In the spring of 2005, I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in International Relations and a general focus in the area of environmental politics. In the fall of 2005, I began reading for an M.Phil in IR at Wadham College, Oxford.
Outside school, I am very interested in photography, writing, and the outdoors. I am writing this blog to keep in touch with friends and family around the world, provide a more personal view of graduate student life in Oxford, and pass on some lessons I've learned here.

I am working on a constitution for the club. If anyone has an interest and some time to spare, I would be very glad for some feedback.
please send me the details on the Sept 20th film event and Milan can you call me to talk about the Climate Fast? We have several major organizations endorsing the climate fast and would very much like 350.org Toronto to consider endorsing. Website: http://www.climatefast.ca. Council of Canadians has signed on and Sierra Club has committed to sign on as well. I think it could be good publicity both way, but please call so we can talk about it – 416-731-6605
Lyn,
I sent you a detailed email with information about the event. It is also on Facebook.
I will bring up the climate fast at the next planning meeting for Toronto 350.org. You’re welcome to attend if you like. It will be next Tuesday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
We have a new web address:
Toronto350.org
It will be prettier and have more content soon.
