Preliminary Boston photos

Sasha and I are exploring Boston. Right now, we are in the Stata Center at MIT.

As I find WiFi hotspots, I am uploading preliminary photos from my iPhone to my Flickr feed. Better photos from the 5D will come later.

In the spring of 2005, I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in International Relations and a general focus in the area of environmental politics. In the fall of 2005, I began reading for an M.Phil in IR at Wadham College, Oxford. Outside school, I am very interested in photography, writing, and the outdoors. I am writing this blog to keep in touch with friends and family around the world, provide a more personal view of graduate student life in Oxford, and pass on some lessons I've learned here.

  1. Going to Occupy Boston? I know people there. Need a place to stay? I have very nice friends in the neighborhood.

  2. Gail,

I am open to having a look at Occupy Boston, though it’s not especially high on my list.

We had a look at MIT and Harvard today. Tonight, we are going to see some blues.

We are staying in a fairly mediocre hostel, but it provides a good breakfast, plus WiFi in the rooms, and it is close to everything.

  3. We walked all around the Federal Reserve building on our way to the The Institute of Contemporary Art today, but saw no sign of Occupy Boston.
