Construction on the former Cather Crescent / Varna Drive

I grew up in this area. I’m sad to see it go. I’m wondering where they pushed the people who had lived here for decades. That city is so overpriced, I can’t imagine where they are expected to go to find affordable housing. Its kind of gross. I know that was a lower income area and one point. I loved that neighbourhood.
It is a stressful and precarious time for housing. Right now my landlord is trying to force me out despite never having any problems with payment or anything else – just because if they eject one set of tenants they can charge any price they like to the next ones.
