I’m pleased to send you this link to our Bargaining Team’s (BT’s) update on their progress at the table last week and today. As they say in this Bargaining Bulletin 4, their very recent progress is the direct result of our resounding support for our BT through our 89.4% YES vote, with over 1500 ballots cast.
While we have lots of work ahead of us to continue showing the University that we’re watching them, and that we care deeply about how they treat us in this round of bargaining, we’re finally seeing some more progress at the table, thanks to our collective actions so far. For access to all four Bargaining Bulletins, along with information about our Bargaining Platform and the bargaining process, see our Unit 1 Bargaining page, here: http://www.cupe3902.org/unit-1/bargaining/.
I look forward to seeing you all at the upcoming members meetings (details forthcoming; stay tuned!), and around campus with our CUPE 3902 swag proudly displayed. Swing by the office, at #803-180 Bloor St. W (right across from the ROM Crystal) once it reopens on January 3rd at 9am to pick up toques, gloves, pens, pencils, USB drives, and other goodies to proudly display your support for our Bargaining Team on campus as we head into the New Year.
